IE for mac? Does it still exist?

Does anyone know if microsoft is still supporting internet explorer for the mac? I was trying to go through the microsoft website but I kept running into broken links.

Microsoft no longer supports IE for the Mac. When Apple came out with Safari, and it gained so much traction, Microsoft realized there was no benefit in continuing the development or support of IE for the Mac. For a brief time they kept up development of Mac IE for the Mac version of their Internet Service, but that eventually went the way of the Dodo.

You can however still download a copy of the last version of IE (5.2.3) for the Mac, if that's what you're wanting to do. See the link below.

If none of this answers your question, I guess you'd need to elaborate on what you actually want out of Microsoft, then maybe a more definitive answer can be given.
