and suggests that I need a fix for Yahoo toolbar. This happens both at home and in my office. I can't find any source of a"fix" for Yahoo toolbar.

Try Mozilla's Firefox. It's a lot lighter than IE. You'll love it!

just delete and uninstall the yahoo toolbar
and if you still want it, try and reinstall it
or you can do the best thing and stop using IE and download Firefox, its more organized, looks nicer, and does NOT ever F up like IE does
Unistall the Yahoo toolbar and try Google toolbar instead. It's far more stable. Or you could try using Firefox, which is far more stable than IE...
