settings are currently set at automatic and 250 MB

also, i have checked under internet options/security and the "delete temp files when browser is closed" setting is "not" enabled.

You should check settings for anti-spyware, anti-virus, anti-adware or any other security software.

Maybe you have a security program which is doing this.
what about under tools- internet options

under browsing history- making sure that it's not set to delete after 0 days.
Check your history settings in the TOOLS option
in internet explorer TOOLS %26gt; INTERNET OPTIONS %26gt; ADVANCED TAB uncheck the option that tells internet explorer to do that
Hi...this will be easy for you....Go to tools on the top of the browser.click on it, then internet options, then advanced....uncheck the box that states "empty ie on close"
