Is there a way to tell Internet explorer to always open links I click in a new tab rather than in a new window?
IE Tab question?
Yes, click Tools, Internet Options, Settings button next to Tabs. At the bottom of the box, it says "Open Links from..."
Click on New Tab In The Current Window, click OK, click OK.
Just a note: I find this setting doesn't always work as expected; sometimes the link is opened in the same tab. Usually, I hold the Ctrl key and then click the link to ensure it opens in a new tab.
