where do I go to see which version I am running?

go to the Help tab and go to the About Internet Explorer option...
Ie optimized for ie 7?microsoft office internet explorer
right click internet explorer
click on properties
check the version there.
Open Ie go to Help%26gt;About Internet Explorer and look at the version number. If the File, Edit, View, etc buttons are hidden press F9 to get them to show up. That means you are most likely running IE7 though.
