You have spyware. Use HijackThis to run a complete system log, and post it to one of the major Antispyware communities. They will be able to lead you further in debugging your system.

you've got adware/malware on your computer. you need Adaware SE Personal from http://www.lavasoft.com
also get yahoo tool bar with norton anti spy http://toolbar.yahoo.com and use both to scan your system. without knowing the name of the program it's trying to get you to buy, it's impossable to say. Some of these programs require a seperate proprietary program for successful removal.
Also try this ...
Click on your startbutton and click run
then type in services.msc
then in the list find Messenger
click it once then goto the top and click Action and select Properties
In Properties find Startup Type:
select Disable and click ok
restart your computer
Helllo
Yes, you definitely have some spyware applications installed on your computer. It happens some times when you visit a random website that has automatically installed these programs into your computer (without realizing it - there are just some malicious people out there). Anyway, I had the same problem a year ago. This is what I did:
1. Download Hijack This (do a scan to view a log of your registry). Compare what you have on your system to see what has changed.
2. Download Ad-Aware and do a system scan.
3. Download Spysubtract and do a system scan.
4. Download Spybot Search and Destroy and do a system scan.
All of the above can be downloaded for free - with the exception of Spysubtract which will offer you with a free trial.
Once I did all of the above, it cleaned out my system.
Good luck.
First, forget IE version of Yahoo Toolbar w/ Norton. Will not work with win98.
Secong bebe correct on one way to repair problem.
HOWEVER, if your cpu has system restore, (click start%26gt; settings%26gt; control panel%26gt; accessories%26gt; system tools%26gt; system restore) you can redst you computer to an earlier time before all these problems started occurring. Then down Fire
fox browser, make it default browser, download Yahoo Tioolbar for FireFox. Then download AdAware, Spybot, and AVG, (all free) from download.com and scan often.
