Since IE is considered part of the system, you should be able to repair it by using System File Checker. Open a command prompt and type in

sfc /scannow

The system will check for any corrupted files, and will ask you to insert your Windows CD / DVD if it needs to copy some files. You can continue to use Firefox during this, but I would reboot after it is done if you want to use IE.

firefox is faster and safer to use..
yes you can download it at mozilla firefox just make sure that you download a higher version of IE in your computer.

Opera is also little slow

Netscape is also little slow

Leave the files on IE5 %26amp; downgrade back to IE5, cos IE7 is very slow.

You only need to do a search on here to see how many people are having problems with IE7. The best thing to do is download Mozilla Firefox available from http://www.mozilla.com/ Its faster, more user friendly, easily customisable to suit your needs and no problems.

well for reseting all in internet explorer

go to tools %26gt;%26gt; internet options %26gt;%26gt; programs tab

click on reset web settings and

click ok then

restart browser

Maybe coz it's Beta...But I don't have that kind of problem.Did you reboot your Pc?Maybe that should solve your problem.

I had the same problem and solved it by increasing cookie acceptance. Go to tools, internet options and privacy. My setting was on high. By lowering it to medium high, I was able to log in. Also, I found that right-clicking on the blinking login page did bring up the login window.
